Daisy is a beautiful double merle who endured unimaginable neglect—locked in a closet for four days without food or water. When she was finally discovered, weak and frightened, PawSavers Rescue in Ohio stepped in to give her the care and compassion she desperately needed until the found us. We drove to Ohio and adopted Daisy, we love her immensely. Daisy’s resilience and gentle spirit inspire our mission every day. She’s the reason Daisy’s Promise exists: to ensure no dog is ever forgotten, and every life has a chance to heal and thrive. We thought Daisy had sight issues like many Double Merles have. But after having her for a while now, she has a malformed pupil, which is a trait for many Double Merles
